Balance Physical Therapy

When you don't trust your own body, everything changes.

Maybe you've started avoiding the activities you love because you're afraid of falling. Maybe you grip the wall when you walk down the hallway, or you've stopped going out alone because the ground never quite feels steady. Maybe a fall has already happened, and now fear has become just as limiting as the fall itself.

Balance problems have a way of quietly shrinking your world — and that's not something you should have to accept.

At Neuro Performance Therapy, we understand that balance isn't just a physical issue. It affects your confidence, your independence, and your sense of who you are. Our goal is to give all of that back to you.

What We Work On

Balance rehabilitation at Neuro Performance Therapy is built around your specific impairments, your goals, and the activities that matter most to you. Treatment may involve strengthening, gait training, motor re-education, sensory retraining, or a combination of approaches — always tailored to what your body actually needs.

We also place a strong emphasis on fall prevention — not just reducing the risk of falls, but preparing you for the possibility. One of our core beliefs is that everyone should be able to get down to the floor and back up again independently. It's a skill that most fall prevention programs overlook, but it's one of the most empowering things we can help you regain. Because knowing you can get yourself up if you do fall changes everything — it replaces fear with confidence.

A Note for Families

If you're reading this on behalf of a parent, spouse, or loved one — we see you too. Watching someone you care about struggle with balance and lose their independence is hard. We work closely with families and caregivers as part of the recovery process, because the best outcomes happen when everyone is on the same page.
